Soo instead of spending money on the HP30, I got a new pair of shocks. 12" Bilstein 7100s. Got them for $200 off a guy from CL that thought he had 11" 5160s. I'm gonna get the Poly Performance rear outboard kit and try to set it up for 6" up and 6" down travel.

Nothing interesting was done. Just fixed an issue with the fuel pump wires.

Made a little progress on the axle finally. Nothing much, just pulled the shafts and hubs and checked out the gears. Everything looks good so far. Just gotta clean off the layers of grease and grime then the fun stuff begins.



The plan (as of now) is truss (or internal sleeves?), gusset the C's, flip the tie rod, LCA skids, and axle side Johnny joint kit. Gotta get it all done (and regeared to 4.88 with my 44), along with outboarding the rear, by March for our Mojave Road run.

Oh yea, for Christmas my girlfriend got me new speakers for the sound bar. Focal Access 130. They sound good. Much more clear than stock and they don't get distorted. Now I need new dash speakers, I can really tell how much they suck.

Its the same front end you have, and don't you have CV's? I want to say it changed to u joints in 95/96 but I'm not 100% sure. Not like those shafts will be used anyways.
