Bruce the Jeep

Okay well to start off, it is February of 2014 and I got the Jeep in July of 2013.
I haven't done a ton of stuff to it yet; just small upgrades here and there. I'm a 19 year old college kid so money is a little tight. I'm saving up for a lift that I will hopefully put on this summer. I've wheeled quite a few times and I've been pretty impressed with the stock capabilities.

Here's a picture from the day I brought it home.

The first thing I did was to build a flag pole for the trailer hitch.
I went to Lowe's and got some plumbing supplies then went to work.
I got a hollow pipe, coupler, nipple, and two caps to make sure this thing wouldn't fall apart.

Once I got back to college in the fall of 2013, I got bored and started looking around for cheap and easy things to do. I decided I wanted to Plasti-Dip all the chrome except for the chrome along the windows.
I also took my Jeep to Mountain Lake which was extremely foggy. The next day I went and found a trail in Catawba, VA where I tested the stock suspension.

Well it snowed right after Christmas break so my roommate and I went to Mountain Lake and had some fun. You can see some of the plasti-dipping I've done on the grille and wheels. It has held up a lot better than I expected.

Got some quick-fist clamps from endroad.com. Mounted a small shovel and I'm going to mount an ax on the liftgate once I get an ax.

I screwed them in with #10 x 3/4" self-tapping screws.
