You can use fabric paint for the pads. We use that stuff here at work quite a bit. Turns out looking awesome and seems to be mostly UV/water colorfast which is important in a Wrangler. When and if you do a body lift don't forget to move the radiator fan shroud or you might hear some fun noises.

Sweeet! I've been hacking away at mine as well. Lot of work that will never be done. Where'd you pick up your led taillights?

They actually aren't led's they are just regular trailer lights. I got them for like 10$ at Kmart

My 4wd is ****ed! I can not get my axle to disengage when I put the tcase back in 2wd. I think it's the vacume that is screwed and lookin into a pull cable to engage the front axle and eliminate the vacume completely. Let me know of you guys now o anything!

I honestly have no idea. That sucks but logically it seems like a vacuum line. Maybe get under there and see what you can come up with.

Vacuum line is probably leaking. Look for "4x4 Posi Lock", which is the cable shifter that replaces the vacuum actuation. It is a good idea to replace the shifter fork while you have it apart.
Edit:

Where did you get those speaker boxes and how did you mount them? I was thinking of putting some speakers in the back of my Jeep.
