Project Silverstone Stallion- Boogs 2001 TJ.

So, I figured it was time to start one of these. First things first, a little background info on myself:

When I was 3 years old, my parents bought me a Jeep Wrangler power wheels, and I used to drive it all over our yard, rain or shine. 20 years later, I was finally able to buy a Wrangler. March of 2011, I bought my 2001 Silverstone TJ. I'm active duty USAF stationed overseas, and I found my Jeep on the lemon lot one day, and I knew I had to have it.

Specs: 2001 Sport, 5spd, 4.0L, D44R, 77k miles (bought it with 72k), 31in BFG ATs

Three months after I bought my TJ, I deployed to Southwest Aisa. This was a blessing in disguise, as it gave me 6 months to research and learn about TJs and the good/bad companies, products, etc. I also found Jeepforum, Wranglerforum, and Militaryjeepers. While I was deployed, I reenlisted, and got a pretty nice bonus, which has been sitting in my bank account, earning interest, and calling my name. 1 year after returning from deployment, I've decided what direction I want my build to go in. I have bought a couple things, KC replacment fog lights, Banks monster exhaust, but today I started ordering more.

So far I have purchased:
2.5in rough country progressive rate coil springs- SOLD
Currie/Savvy 3in springs- Installed
Front and Rear Bilstein 5100 shocks- Installed
Rokmen variable height bump stops- Awaiting installation
OME rear tracbar bracket- Not used
Rancho steering stabalizer- Installed
Metal Cloak Duroflex control arms _ Installed
4 33x12.50x15 Duratracs- Installed
1.5in wheel spacers-Not used
Antirock- Installed
1in MML- Installed
Metalcloak adjustable front tracbar- Installed
Future mods:
UCF tummy tuck
Metal Cloak Overlines
D44F
Chromoly axle shafts
35's
4.88
Lockers
OR-FAB rear tire carrie
JCR Rear bumper

I will update as much as I can. Living overseas, it takes longer to get Items in the mail.

Ill post a couple pics of how it looks right now, Thanks for looking!

Thanks man. i was back and forth between the MC arms and Savvy arms, finally decided to go with the tried and true Savvy/Currie arms, and I couldnt order from Savvy's website with a credit card, so I just went with the MC arms. They give a military discount, so I wasnt dissapointed.

So my Antirock and rear swaybar links are on backorder, but my MML shipped so thats good news. I got my shipping quote from Metalcloak, still gonna beat cheaper with shipping than the Currie/Savvy arms would have been without shipping. My tires are being processed, and should be shipping soon, hopefully the extra money I paid for priority shipping gets them here sooner. The Rokmen bumpstops also shipped, as well as my steering stabalizer and track bar bracket. I'm hoping that my shocks have shipped, but I can't see to be able to log in to the Morris4x4 website to check.

My coil springs and wheel spacers shipped, and my MC control arms should be going out soon. Just waiting on my Antirock and rear swaybar links to come off backorder and get shipped. The waiting game sucks

Well the Antirock and rear swaybar links are still on back order, so no telling when they will get shipped. Hoping some parts start to trickle in this week.

Santa came early! (Or late, depending on how you look at it). I couldnt get over the difference between my worn out BFGs and new duratracs..besides the size difference. Hopefully my wheel spacers will get here soon so I can slap them bad boys on.

So I was supposed to get my tires mounted and balanced today, but I still haven't recived my wheel spacers yet, so hopefully they didn't get lost in the mail. Control arms, coil springs, and Antirock are all on their way, but theres no telling when they will get here..but thats the life of being sationed overseas.
