Yeah, elevation surely plays a role. Jeeps lives at 1300 ft, and we were at 7000 ft on the last run. It was warm too, mid 90's with the AC blasting the whole time. We'll be at 6500ft for this weekends run. Supposed to be mid to upper 80's, so we'll see if there is any improvement.
Got bored today, but didn't really feel like doing much. I stared at the Jeep for a good while contemplating my next move. The rear bumper needs some TLC, the flares need removed and re-painted, and a serious buffing of the body is long overdue. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like starting any of it today, so I did this,
i too stare at my jeeps for long periods of time contemplating what im going to actually do...there is usually alcohol involved tho...lol...a few years back a friend of mine that worked refilling the chemicals in semi truck washes brought me this jug of a brown looking substance....talk about a degreaser...it burned like all hockey sticks...and seemed like it took forever to rinse off your hands...but it didnt care if the greasy gunk was from a junkyard dog and 1" thick spray on hose off brand new...lol
p.s. removing stickers is a lot harder than applying them...so to save energy put more stickers on plus they help hold yer jeep together
Be carefull while Hugging the Trees...They leave dents on your Jeep....
Shhhhhh I'm not crazy...It's just the voices in my head
Not much going on with the jeep these days. Hard top is going on tonight for the winter season. Managed to do our Lost Coast run last weekend. We pulled into camp late Saturday night and it started raining. It continued to rain into Sunday. We decided to cancel the second part of the run due to the crappy weather. Camping in the rain is so much fun!(insert sarcastic tone here)! Anyways, Saturday was fun. Nothing too exciting. Just some great scenery, a little beach time, and good times with great friends! I stole a few pics from my jeep buddies, so not all the pics are mine.
