Not sure yet. Maybe in a tail gate fashion?

All painted up and ready to install. Gotta drill a few more holes in the basket once I get the cross bars mounted and measure for location.

Supplemental cargo storage project complete! A pod would be really slick, but they are pricey!
Thanks again lowranger! Those clamps worked perfectly!

Sweet rack. Much better than the aftermarket "exo" racks out there.

Thank you! It was a fun project, and it gave me a chance to practice my welding skilz, or lack there of! Gonna put it to the test this weekend.

I'll post pics of it loaded with gear and the pups in the back for our trip to the coast.

Nope, not this trip. Went just south of the Lost Coast to Fort Bragg for an overnighter. Weather was favorable!

Warning! Puppy pic heavy, lol! Pups had a blast on the beach! Cargo rack performed perfectly! A bit of a pain to get to things, but was worth it to bring the pups along for the ride. Weather on the coast was a bit cool, but nice. Finished off the journey with a quick stop at Lake Mendocino on the way home to wash off the salt-n-sand.
