My flares are holding up quite well. Other than some brush gragphics, they still look as good as the day I painted them. Painting them is the best long term solution I think.

Yep! Just wait till it warms up a bit. Your hands and the paint will thank you for it. There's like a zillion threads on painting flares, so I won't bore you with the details, but if your interested in the process I did I can PM you details.
I forgot you have a CJ7! Here's a pic of one of my co-workers CJ's. We call it "The Trophy Jeep" cause it sits in his garage collecting dust like a trophy! LOL!

I haven't had much luck with painting in the colder temps Guess I should wait until it gets in the 70s at least! That CJ is a lot cleaner than mine, mine sits collecting dust and rust! Got tired of throwing money at it lol, I'll most likely sell it soon!

I could almost "finish" the TJ (yeah right) if I sold the CJ. I swore I'd never but fell in love with the TJ after driving it everyday

Do they sell the slave cylinder by itself, or do they all come as a sealed unit?

Everywhere I looked they only sold it as a sealed unit. However, when I called my local Napa parts store, they said they can sell just the master without slave for about $60. I didn't want to deal with bleading the system and I ended up getting the factory sealed unit for $98.

I'd like to mount them right now, but I'm gonna hold back and wait till I get new tires. I'm about 75% thru my M/T's and plan to purchase new tires this summer.

Ahh, yes! The question of the year! I wish I knew! I can't decide! I've had fun with the BFG KM's, but for the kind of driving I do (80/20.....well this year it was more like 90/10), I think I will lean towards an All Terrain. Whatever it is I decide on, it'll be in the 32X11.50X15 flavor. I'm leaning towards the Falken Wildpeak or the BFG KO, or maybe Coopers. Saw their new ST Maxx, but they only have limited sizes and no 15's yet.

32s look great! Hear great things about Falken tires too!

I have Cooper Discoverer ATR on my Jeep currently and they ride amazingly well, not the best traction in the mud but that's to be expected. I've got 13,000 miles on them and they look as new as they day I got them.
