I am a long way from a suspension redesign, but I am a huge fan of how he did it and have quite a few pictures/notes saved on my computer. My brother and I are planning to buy a welder together hopefully by the end of the year and how quickly we can learn is what will dictate the next phase of my jeep's build. I am set on doing things myself

I'm impressed with the speed with which that went out.

Ordered another pair of Currie arms yesterday and they were on the road by last night and will be here Monday.

Not bad for across the country!

BTW Bryn, check this skid out... $120 with cheap shipping, completely flat. Still requires a little bit of customization.

I was just in your thread and saw that! You order from Savvy? I am jealous of those arms. But I wanted adjustable uppers AND lowers on the cheap since I don't know how much longer I will be on this suspension setup.

Damn that's cool! I will definitely keep that in mind...I didn't know anyone was selling flat skids for tj's. That would save a little bit of work and I think the price is pretty fair

Got my first set (the front) from Dirk at Northridge for $500 shipped. Rear set came from Jason at Jeepin Outfitters (who drop ships). In all honesty, save up and buy them all at once. It can be done for under $900 if you shop around for a while.

Just found his site a few weeks ago because REDLYNERs build got a bumper from him. For $120, it's cheaper than a sheet of steel which you'd need to cut down and mold. $145 delivered to my door (haven't ordered yet) but I think it's well worth it for a flat skid made by a US fabricator.

Whew! Got my new cv shaft on but it caused me a little grief...I could not get the u-joint to sit flush on the new yoke so I could start the threads on the bolts. Finally was able to see that the grease fitting on the u-joint was in the way and not allowing it to sit properly in the yoke. So I removed the fitting and waddaya know...sits in the yoke perfectly. Took the jeep for a quick spin and everything checks out! Antirock will be here tomorrow so I'll slap that ***** on and my pile should be ready to roll for Labor Day!

Is your rear axle pushed back? 2nd to last picture it looks rearwards in the wheel well.

Although I did push the axle back slightly, the picture is a little deceiving I think. When I first installed the control arms, I had them out too far and the diff cover hit the gas tank skid. I brought it in some and everything clears as is and it looks like I got my wheelbase back (old pro-crap arms shortened it some).

Gotta give love to my fellow Chili Pepper's Although it was a tough choice, I am absolutely obsessed with MO2500's build lol.

In other news, My Currie Antirock showed up Monday....without the heim joints for the links: They will be here tomorrow so I will get them on when they arrive. I did the arms installed though and it looks like my axle is off center by an inch or less...Anyone have any insight as to whether or not this will affect the Antirock an any way? I probably need an adjustable track bar, I have just never noticed it being off one way or the other until now.

I got my heims for the Antirock in today so I finished that up and my rig is pretty much ready to roll for Labor day!! I didn't get to check clearances with the Antirock yet or take any pictures so I may try to do that tomorrow sometime. I am really looking forward to this latest addition of mods since my last wheeling trip (rear ARB hooked up, Antirock, sye+adjustable CA's) It should be a super fun weekend regardless
