Stock NV231. SYE is next priority. Luckily the stupid t-case drop hasn't hung me up too bad in the rocks yet. But I really want to get that belly up.

Any idea of which route you're going? I know there are a bunch of Tom Woods fans here (rightfully so, he makes a good product) but you should look into Adams Driveshaft and their products. I got my Rugged Ridge SYE and a custom CV shaft for $385 delivered to my door. Ordered on New Years Eve from eBay, got a call not 5 minutes later from the owner of the company James asking my set up specifics. They literally had the kit mailed out to me 4 hours later. Also, both products come with lifetime warranties/replacement from Adams. Google them, read about them on here. They're a highly reviewed and liked alternative for about $100+ less than TW.

Also, tummy tucking... You going to go Savvy or UCF?

Savvy is nice but the way they've been running things lately you'll prolly wait 2 months for it. I personally have the UCF skids and they are awesome, no complaints.

Thanks for the info, I will certainly look into to them. I was also going to consider getting a quote from my local driveline guy, just to see if it's competitive or not. He shortened my current DS after my axle swap and he seems to do good business.

As for the skid plates, I like UCF for the price. Which skid did you go with AngryTJ? High clearance or regular? And what thickness did you choose?

Here's a little update: Got to work mounting my pitbulls on the beadlocks. It's pretty much torture since the backing nuts are not welded to the inner ring. took me about 2 hours to do one I'm gonna try to finish them up this weekend. It should go faster now that I kinda have an idea of what's going on..

Awesome! What type of flare did you get? I think I used 7 cans of chili pepper but that was really focussing on the external areas. I only put a few coats on the inside of the fenders. And I used 2 cans of clear if I remember right

Ended up with the 3" flare, just because MA does technically have a tire-coverage law, although the 3" won't cover them entirely. Also wanted to avoid as much spray from the tires as possible, but didn't want the look of 4.5 or even 6" of flare. 3" should fit perfectly and still look good. I think when we first talked you mentioned using 5 cans of rattle, so I bought 10 to use for my set, along with 6 cans of clear.

You're gonna love them. Yeah however many cans I had told you a while back is probably right.

Finished mounting the locks and threw them on the jeep!


Also, I think I am going to swing by autozone today and order a flowmaster hushpower muffler to replace that stupid glasspack. I am so sick of the farty drone that thing makes. Any other opinions on something similar to the FM are appreciated too.

Not much of an update but I got rid of that crappy glasspack and swapped in a Flowmaster Hushpower II. So far I like it a lot better than the glasspack. It actually does what a muffler is supposed to do. It is still a little loud for my taste, but very tolerable. I am itching so bad to pull the trigger on some new parts but I'm holding off for a little bit.
Here are some pics of my new muffler set up. No hating allowed on my ghetto-fab turn down lol.

Finished them! Color isn't perfect (Jeep is 13 years old, that's a lot of fading!) but they look good either way. Thanks for the encouragement and information my friend!
