Well I finished up the axle swap! And got my 35x12.50 pitbull rockers mounted in time for a trip this weekend. We're heading to Superlift ORV park in Hit Springs, AR as we speak. I'll get some wheelin pics up next week

Here's a few pics from the weekend. We had a blast! I ended up bending both rear axle-side shock mounts, so I will be replacing those later in the year with some heavier duty ones. I can bend them back in the mean time for the next couple of trips we have planned. The jeep performed great with the new gears and 35's. I can't wait to get the ARB hooked up in the rear so I'll be locked f/r. Thanks to my brother for the pictures...

I edited a little video too I will post up tomorrow

Thanks man! They were some what of a pain to install but very much worth the work(and money lol). Here's a little video I made from the weekend. It's hard to edit a weekend's worth of footage into a short video, but I tried lol. Let me know what you guys think

Can't imbed vimeo so here's a link

Well my wheels finally came in! 15x8 Diybeadlocks with the "bullet" outer rings. Still waiting on the hardware to come in so I will mount the rockers on them when I get it all. Still trying to decide if I want to sell the 33's mounted on the old wheels or run them on the street and save the beadlocks and 35's for offroad only. Anyone have any input as far as running beadlocks on-road for a rig the sees a fair amount of pavement?

Well, I re-did my exhaust system...I ordered a bolt-on magnaflow hi-fow cat and front pipe all for $144 shipped! I had put a hole in my muffler, so I figured I would just replace it with a flowmaster. Well I hacked the muffler off and realized I did not have a catalytic converter...wtf? You can see in the picture below. A muffler shop quoted me $700 to add a cat and a flowmaster...lol yea right. So I am currently running it with just the cat but I am going to add a muffler and a turn down because its a little too loud for my tastes. It does has a nice throaty sound though.

old pipe out

Blingin magnaflow cat and front pipe

Install took probably 30 min and for the money spent, I couldn't be happier

I will most probably add a glasspack for simplicity and cost sometime this weekend. Hopefully I will get around to mounting my new wheels too! They look awful purrttyy sittin' in my garage

Those rims are pretty sick.

I have only had my beadlocks for a few weeks now but I run them on pavement all the time. Just have to retorq all the bolts every 2 weeks for the first 6 months.

I have been very curious about that...I would like to run them on the street so I can sell my old 33"km2's mounted on the old cragars and get some extra coin for some stuff i need like sye and associated parts. But I was a little worried about them loosing pressure and having to re-torque bolts all the time. What wheels are you running? And have you had any trouble other than the bolts loosening? I don't DD my jeep but I do drive it as much as I can on the road when its nice out.

I have the raceline monster beadlocks. No issues other then retorqing, I think you'll be fine because mine isnt a DD either but I split time so its sees plenty of pavement.

I've got the same cat system and love it. I think the size of the cat itself is perfect because there won't be much clearance problems with a tummy tuck like some guys experience.

Cool thanks for the info! I just checked out some of the end of your build thread, very nice indeed! I also saw it in the "TJ's on 35's" thread

Yeah I have plans to go with some type of tucked skid after I do the sye. The size is nice and leaves plenty of room in there

Thanks man! I love the fenders too...by far my favorite aesthetic mod. They completely change the look of the jeep!

I'm going to finish up my exhaust today with a muffler and a turn down and then tomorrow I think I will mount my beadlocks

Well I just finished my muffler for now but it's probably going to be temporary. I put a thrush glass pack on for $21.99. The glass pack is a little longer than I expected and the length of it doesn't allow me to put a turn down in it. It is very loud and drony inside the cab. I may have to hack some length off of the end of the cat pipe to try to shorten the whole package. It is definitely worth a shot for how cheap the thing is. If I still don't like it with the turn down I will probably switch it for a regular muffler
