*Motive Alloy axles front and rear (30 & 33 splines)
*Yukon 4.88 Gears
*Rock Hard 4x4 Rear Bumper & tire carrier

First thing on the list was to replace the dented front bumper...here is a pic of the damage:

Here is the front removed and on the garage floor:

Bought a used one from a local on Craigslist...actually bought front and rear for $60...both had only 10 miles on them, and looked brand new...Here is the front installed:

Next on the list was to recoup some cash from parts installed that I won't need....I'm more of a 'beach' jeep driver...and I go on lots of trails up in the central VA area, but no rock crawling for me. I'm building this jeep to be a DD, with high clearance and good looks...please no flaming for that...it will still see more offroad than 90% of other jeeps..just nothing major

...that being said...off came the armor:

Sold the rear bumper for some good spending money...installed the stock rear:

Completed the sale of my Harley today...another big chunk of change for spending money:

2010 Harley Iron w/ less than 1K miles...buyer got a great deal, but I didn't owe anything on the bike so it was pure profit for me...plus all work was done by me, and I sold it for more than I paid new:

Received on 7-14-2011:

All items ordered through Quadratec:
Wheels, BL, ML, Flashpaq, Wheel Spacers

...no pics because my camera is dead...but some will be up soon enough

Items completed on 7-15-2011
-Removed back seat and rear seat belts
-Removed factory soft top and stored in the garage
-Installed the Mopar 1/2 Cab top
*Found that I was missing the upper 'bow', so I fabbed up one from an old broom handle...works great
-Removed the chrome front grille overlay
*Plan on sanding this down and painting it flat black to match the new wheels

****Also...realized there was another skid under my radiator/fan area...removed that and plan on putting it up for sale. I believe I've removed over 200-250lbs of gear from this jeep. If anything, I should see slightly better fuel mileage...and maybe a little more pep in its step

Finished installing the 1.25" Body Lift today...looks really tall with the 4.5" & 1.25" combined sitting on 33"s. I guess it's a good thing I dropped my new 37"s off at the tire shop to have them mounted and balanced

Also installed the Flashpaq tune....big waste of time. It won't even let me correct my speedometer w/ new tire and gear settings. It says that those options are only for 'Rubicon's'

...that may be going back to Superchips if they can't correct my speedo

but that's all for today...tomorrow the new wheels/tires go on, after I install the motor mount lift...and then updated pics for everyone's enjoyment

Thanks, I'll get those pics up tomorrow. I'm going to finish installing everything today and then borrow my neighbor's camera since mine is on the 'fritz'

but all in all I'm really liking the looks of the Mopar half top. I haven't driven anywhere with it on yet, but looks to be very sturdy
