Black and yellow LJ

Decided to start a build thread... first I want to say why the hell didn't I own a wrangler sooner? Any how I am semi new here and hopefully can learn something new everyday, and help fellow jeepers with personal experience. My wrangler is a Daily driven 2004 tj unlimited in Solar yellow. My first mod was a hardtop then in went a bearable stereo. Since I bought it about three weeks ago I have done nothing except order piles of parts, read pages of info and meet cool new people. the list goes some thing like...

factory hardtop harness and switches
Undercover fab skids: engine, tc, and gas skid
banks monster exhaust
brown dog mml
daystar 1" bl
more steering rise
metal cloak arch front fenders and wheel wells, rears, and rocker guards
bfg km2's 33x10.5 on method racing mr301 15x7 bs 3.75

from the looks it everything is quality, waiting for mc fenders to get here tomorrow and then scuff em up and primer. My only semi complaint but i knew it was coming, the km2's actual tread width is roughly 8.5 ish wide and aired down the tire measures just under 32 inches.... any ways heres some pics.

thanks bro. I wanted to get a set of wheels that I don't see running around everywhere. My next purchase is going to be springs and shocks im thinking ome but I would appreciate input... I need flex, flex, flex. I don't want to go up I just want to stuff these 33's as far into the metal cloaks s possible.

I hear ya. I have a 2.5 on mine with 32s and it does good for me of course it don't see any dirt lol. I want the black wheels below but, I'm still on the fence about it plus its just more money spent.

They are 6 inch and with my 32x11.50s its right on the edge of almost sticking out. You should be okay with your set up. It might stick in some but, it won't look goofy like the stock JK's front fenders do with factory tires.

After reading I'm semi confused do I need an aftermarket part to adjust my tc linkage for the 1" body lift? At that will I need to adjust anything with it being only 1"? And after doing some research on clearing raw metal which is what I wanted to do... Primer and black they will be. The whole clearing metal seams like a head ache and time and money unless anyone knows of an easy way...

Best way to deal with t-case linkage is to replace it all together with the Novak cable shifter. I just installed mine and really like it. Should work with just a 1" BL. All in all, looks like a cool build

Maintain, wheel, upgrade, repeat.

Calm down with all the pics dude. There are more of yours than the OP's in this thread, and I've noticed it in many other builds as well. Start your own build thread.

OP, excellent color choice.
