Doin a little detail work before Jeep Beach....

I did a repaint on her steering bars, track bar, long arms, and skid plates, with quick touch up of the axles.

Ordered Bushwacker Flat Fender Flares

After 6 hours, 5 steps of detailing with the dual orbiter buffer, 1- severe swirl & haze remover, 1- swirl & haze remover, 1 fine machine polish, 2-coats of wax, I got most of the bush scratches out of the black paint.
So now she's under the covers awaiting her new 5-38" Toyo open country MT's
We gotta look good and perform well at Jeep Beach next week !

ssquier92,

Happened to notice a nice pic of your jeep posted from metalcloak on facebook.
Which is actually from 4wd mag.
If unique is what you're going for you nailed it because I immediatley recognized "black booty" from a jeepforum build thread.
Good job!

Just my opinion but 20's dont belong on a jeep...maybe on a ghetto glider.
Hey look at Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off Road, July addition. Page 59.... 2012 King of the hammers article.
The Monster Energy buggy driven by Casey and John Currie, a very well respected name in the off-road industry driving a buggy that has 20" wheels. The times are a turning!

Nice win, but what is the 50/50? Good looking light bar too.

you dont know what a 50/50 is?
people buy a 50/50 ticket and they keep half the money and give out the other half to whoevers' ticket they draw

like everyone else said the black booty stickers are a little much but the more recent pictures look awesome. i am a fan of smaller sidewall on big wheels with aggressive tires, i know its not practical when you actually use it but by the way you build things and vehicles in your pictures, i am sure you have the cash for a couple sets of wheels an tires

again, awesome build!

Thanks, is all in the marketing. Without the catchy name I would just have another black lifted jeep. How can you remember one from the other? But, with the name, and since its got "Booty" in it, it is easy to remember and the ladies love it.

I went back to the local truck n jeep show to come in second place in the "Jeep category", a Toyota FJ 40 with a new paint job beat me because of the shine. Truly a show no GO rig. Oh well, I won another $50 towards the restaurant where it is held. Not bad! Maybe i should have kept my 1975 FJ40 and just painted it also.
