My GenRight rear spring mount re-locators came in. Their gonna get me prolly another 1" in height. I'm gonna need "high heels" to get up into the Booty pretty soon. I'll have to put my 1 1/4" spacers back up front to even out BB. I just hate a front sagging booty.

since the Booty was out of commission while installing stuff, I took the FJ out into the swamps and discovered a faulty floor plug that blew out and let in the swamp water...

drying out the carpet...

redoing some wires while the stuff is out....

installing a radiator skid and an additional heat sink for trans fluid along with the temp gauge for trans fluid.

...along with the replacement Currie CE 9102K Johnny Joint which will replace the control arm bushing to help eliminate front end problems, one being death wobble.

ok, the hard part is done! I got the trans temp gauge located and mounted, the rest is a piece of cake! (right?)

I wanted to locate the gauge somewhere I could glance at it and see the temp quickly but not have it stick out like a sore thumb. Going for that "stock" look. The blank plate next to the locker switch was plenty big and empty. BUT, it was at the wrong angle to actually see the top #'s on the gauge if mounted flush. So I started checking the web for options on mounting and all it seemed to offer were separate gauge pods that stuck up or out somewhere. If I was going for a racing look that might have worked. I came up with making angled spacers so that the gauge face would tilt out and upward for easy viewing. After making/trying 5 different spacers I got it to work as planned. pic's below......

I actually swapped out the 4:88's for 5:13's when I added my "10 force" C molly axles, Spicer u-joints and all U-straps. Swapped out my worn ball joints for some heavy duty XRF ball joints.
Milage sucks but figured that. Crawls and hauls trailers great.

WTF, I was never into stickers either, i don't like shirts with logo's/words on them, not sure what got into me with the Booty but alot of people love it. I wanted to do something different for jeep Beach 2010, and it went over real BIG. Stuck them on two dayz before Jeep Beach. Just riding down the road, watching the faces as people are reading the stickers then a giant smile and thumbs up follows. People want to take their picture with my Jeep. it's crazy!
