Nice! Just got the jeep back from Steel Nutz today. The did the cut/weld for the gen-right tire carrier. I felt so pumped up I actually decided to install the PSC hood louver. I had Team Plus Bullet Liner coat the louver. Went on in just over 5 hours. That included a run to Home Depot for more tools. epic!

Lost about 5" today. The good news is that it wasn't below the belt, the bad news is it wasn't above the belt either. I guess I'll have to settle with a shorter exhaust...

Be careful man. I chopped my exhaust just a few inches and it melted the side of my gas tank as you may remember that lovely smell in Big Bear.

I remember. I didn't know it was do to a chopped exhaust. What would be the difference with having a muffler shop replacing the tip with a smaller one?

It was because instead of the exhaust extending past the gas tank, it ended right next to it, so the heat from the side of the exhaust melted that back corner of the tank and the tube coming out there. Your gas tank is probably in a different location anyway since you drive a bus.

Yuup. On these here mall crawling buses the fuel tank is on the other side of the diff and goes along underneath the p/s rear seat up to almost the p/s front.

I can see how that would effect your power wheel. Those tiny little things.... :P
