Not yet. Ill be installing the trans tonight and will need to figure something out. I know my local napa can make hydraulic hoses on.the spot so i think thats what ill be doing. Also zeb i was wondering if u had any problems adjusting your slave/ arm ect. Also it says the clutch disc should have .030 clearence between the fly. How would i check that with.l the bell installed? Did u test fit your as directions say before bolting the bell.to the trans? Thanks a million for all the help!!!

Have you checked the length of the input shaft? I had to cut it to get it to go in completely

well i guess the pilot bushing got smaller some how when i tapped it into the crank. i removed it machined it out a tiny bit and the trans slid in like a champ. the jeep now has a complete drive train. i will be working on drilling holes it the skid to bolt the mount and torque arm to today. also im gonna go to napa and see about etting a hydraulic hose made.[IMG][/IMG]

thanks james! it worked out great the way i cut it to you would have to see it to understand. it will have plently of strenghth to hold a full tank of fuel. i plan to drill holes in the floor and make some plates to hold the cage, and some metal straps across the tank to keep it in place. now it should clear everything on the frame according to my measurements.. well see

well i havent had anything to update lately been hanging out with the gf, iv been putting the jeep in front lately..= not good! well i got my holley fuel pressure reg today with a gauge and hooked it all up. i got some fillings from home depot to run from the fpr to the carb. i installed the frame clips and have some left over if any one needs them.. and installed the fuel, brake and vent lines. im slowly making progress i need some good weather to finish the tub and mate em together. the only thing im stumped on is the carb is a 1406 edelbrock and there is no return fuel. so if you guys could explaine it to me that would be great because i dont know how exactly its gonna work or burn the ***** outta gas.. backfire? i need some advise!

today i pulled the skid plate back off, when i bolted down the trans it crumpled and was not strong at all, i cut out and replaced the section of steel. also welded up a little riser the trans and engine were at a pretty harsh angle. after i did that i painted with cs then rippped apart the tcase to see if i could find out why it shifts so damn hard. didnt find any issues visually, everything looked good so i put it back together.. i guess i look for another one for a back up.. im hoping for good weather to get the tub finished.. i have a 1 car garage so to do work on it i gotta push the frame outside.. ill post progress as i make it..
