yes!! i broke two pages!! ha ha i got these in the mail today from dear ol dad. [IMG][/IMG]we live in different states for those of you that are following.. but as the weather is getting colder it will hault my frame painting plans unless i find a decent place to get it done. good news is i can still work on the tub gettin her ready.
today i received a package from ruff stuff specialties, it contained way back shackle mount kit and front leaf spring hangers. i welded the way back kit up and let me tell ya ruff stuff is the *****!! they will always have my buisness, total overkill but worth it. [IMG][/IMG] welded up [IMG][/IMG] it then welded them to the rear bumper i fabbed up a while ago. i still need to brave it for extra strength. i welded in a plate that was with the ft spring hanger[IMG][/IMG] but have not burned it into the frame. ill do it in the morning. it looks sick as *****. wheel base 102 in from 93.[IMG][/IMG] total cost 81 bucks.
its been kinda slow goin with xmas and what not, so i probably wont be posting much in the next few weeks. im debating on finishing the project, or buying a ring for my gf of 3 years and then continuing? but here are a few pics of my brace job and the way back kit all welded up.[IMG][/IMG]
no body is commenting because these pictures are huge and take forever to download....
unless its just my computer? but i never have problems with other pictures ever. they come up fast on your computer because they are already on it lol.
well i dont know any other way of putting them on here, so if ya cant see em. to bad it will make good memories when shes all done, and mabe help some one in the future thinking about the swap or frame off resto.
I say keep building the rig, 3 years isn't long enough to make a life-time commitment imo, especially if shes still in her teenage years. Also i'm saying this because I wanna see more of the build and sooner
