Cons to my build.

The original RE bushings in the control arms have all slowly gone bad. RE was helpful and sent me all new ones no questions and they seem to hold up a lot better.

UCF skid was the 3/16.... After a couple good wacks I wish I had gone with the the 1/4".

Custom tie rod is a beefy 1" tube steel. I'm replacing it with aluminum because it already looks like a black snake holding my steering together.

Next mod:
Lowering my seats 2" and tie in for a 4 or 5 point harness.

Highline fenders.

Aluminum corners with possible comp cuts for future stretch.

Dana 30 tubed and trussed.

Not my finest... This run cranked the steering wheel 180 degrees and I've got to replace the drag link joint now.

Broke the ear off the rear pinion yoke slinging the caps out if the ujont on my way to topless day in Charlotte. Top 7 closest I ever come to death. I'm on a steep grade with 18 wheelers smoking the brakes 2 foot away from me as I'm trying to pull the rear driveshaft and get to a safer location.

Thanks. Luckily I found a guy at the next exit that was willing to weld a bead on the yoke so I could keep the caps from slinging out and source a new yoke.

So I ran down a jeep today and traded for some half doors. Sweet haul. He had the black uppers and rare body color lowers to match mine perfectly.

Finally got some Ten Factory front shafts from chase at east coast gear supply :thumbs up: and got the courage to try the infamous 'right side' of Easy Street at the Flats.

Playing in the snow today. image-2533802072.jpg And tore the rear passenger control arm mount. image-1894862282.jpg In the process, popped the transfer case linkage loose rendering me neutral. Luckily made it all the way back to the driveway before I lost the transfer case.

Love the paint color! See way too many green, blue, black, and ESPECIALLY WAY TOO MANY SILVER Jeeps

Fixed the Transfer case linkage with a Novak shifter and forgot to take a picture, then a friend at Carolina Axle and 4x4 welded my link back together.

Here's a few more pics I took last weekend before the big Down and Dirty for Life Relay for Cancer benefit coming April 26. Hope you guys around NC can make it!

Here's a couple pics from Durhamtown Tellico back in March.
It was fun and a beautiful drive.

I've yet to tie In the rear. I'm pretty sure it's happening soon though.
