Gotcha Hopefully you can catch us up to current, it'll be less confusing that way I think but the build looks good so far!

I have some half doors on the way that are black (I think) and my Jeep is Gray. I'm thinking about leaving them black but looking for advice if I want to shoot them with a can.

Thanks
I believe on page 2 there is an old photo. They were white. Go to the drivers side door panel and you should see a small label with factory information. I pulled the paint code and purchased numerous cans from advanced auto. I also know if your local auto parts store does not carry your specific code, quadratec carries them. They are expensive, about $7.00 a can. However it is great for touch up and alot cheaper than paying for a quart of mixed paint which requires a full setup. I also purchased a couple cans of clear coat for each door as well. Did a lighting sanding and wipe down with acetone and had my step-dad spray them since I am terrible at painting. So about $30 a door, which is ok on the wallet IMO.

There isn't too much left to catch up on, the cold weather has kinda slowed me down and have been focusing some attention on hunting. I will shoot you a pm in a bit on some questions / fab related stuff since you a somewhat close, (about an hour guess and seeing if you want to lend me a hand ). I have not forgotten about planning the trip to Big Dogs, I will keep you in the loop.

Update: November 2nd 2012

Not exactly sure where I left off, havent done to much.

Painted these black, the faded grey wasnt working out.

Went to IAG and got tint done. Looks much better. 20% all around.

Ordered my Genright front bumper today! They finally had free shipping on their website and had to take advantage of it. I was not going to pay close to $200 dollars just in shipping.

Update: November 10th 2012

Having bad vibe issues when accelerating. So I need to either: get a bigger body lift upgrade from 1" to 1.25", or beat the **** out of my tub some more. I need to clear the trans tunnel and the exhaust as its riding against the heat shield.

Made some progress today as well, this bumper is sexy:

Thanks, it is made by Genright. Only issue with them is they are on the west coast so shipping is a killer. However thats why I took advantage of their free shipping.

Im pretty stoked, I finished in 4th place in the TJ of the Month Conest for November. Hope to move up a couple spots and take the win eventually. I guess that means I have built something thats semi decent as well.

Update: November 12th 2012

I finished the bumper, but will have to wait about a week and respray the hood hoop. It wasn't completely dry and needs to be redone. Other than that re-installing the winch which was a pain but everything else went ok.

Hey MO2500, the build is now up to date.

Update: November 27th 2012

Couple weeks since I last updated...not much to report.

Myself and Eric sometime last week redid the alignment on the Jeep, drives much better down the road again. Still might take it to a shop to machine diagnosis; however not very crucial at this time. Im not sure there is much they can do other than the smallest tweak.

Just going over the "list", as far as winter building im done. I burned through alot of time and energy this year and to be honest don't want to do any cold weather wrenching. However this will give me a few months to get back on track with a few other things.

Just a general idea of whats planned for next few months/year:

Winter Wash
Fix CEL (02 Sensor)
1.25" BL (Help with tub/exhaust clearance and vibration issues, may reinforce body mounts as well.)
Raceline Beadlocks
Chromoly Axle Shafts (Needed for front HP30, may convert rear to eliminate c-clip)
Full Interior Rebuild (Cage, Seats, Consoles, Electronics, etc.)
Longer travel shocks / outboarding
Camping trailer

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated

Not at this time. It sounds pretty decent at idle; a nice low rumble and great for trail riding. However I need to take care of clearance issues before I would recommend someone to order it. I have vibration issues and it is very loud (drone?) for highway use.

So starting to get stuff prepped for a few upcoming mods.

Does anyone have a free program that they use to put a rollcage on paper? I have an idea in my head but not sure how to describe it, I am not building it I just need a general sketch.

Also, what seats do you all recommend from Corbeau?

Not much of an update, but...

I took advantage of the end of year discount and ordered a set of rock lights, will have my buddy help wire them in later when we go to do the switch panel / fuse block. One less thing to purchase before Big Dogs!
