Bedlined rear bumper

Stole the idea from MattS

Used duplicolor spray on bedliner, comes in a spraypaint can so it was easy as pie to do. Took the entire can to get the texture just right, so I can't imagine how much one would have to buy just do spray a truck bed. No more deep rusted scratches!

Good work, mate

Did you remove the bumper to paint it or did you mask off the surrouding area?

the original plan was to remove the rear bumper, but after wrestling with the 2 bolts inside the bumper for a few hours i decided to just leave the endcaps removed and mask off the rest.

I don't know how well it will hold up in the longrun, but I dropped my lawnmower on it this morning when I was taking it out the back and it faired very well.

I painted my rear axle and springs in the Duplicolor Bed Liner stuff. Went on easily - and hopefully will be on there for awhile. Easy to touch up. Looks good.

I've done everything metal on my jeep it seems like except the paint. The duplicolor is cheap enough to paint over again when you rub it off on a rock.

to original poster: Looks good
