You could say that again. Plus there are a ton of things to do other than Jeepin, such as finding forgotten ghost towns like I love to.

Got a shipment today. way to cold to rattle can. So I have to figure out if I want them powder coated or sprayed.

Lift should be here tomorrow. that leaves rear bumper and sliders.

Sweet fenders...I'm way jealous! We had a nice sunny day here in South Texas yesterday so I finally got to spray my bumper, skid, and brawler rockers. I'll try to get some pictures up today.

I loved the PSC fenders on my '07 Rubi JKU I recently sold. Flopped it and they only had a scratch.

I tell ya though, after getting all 4 installed I feel like I can say I am a nutsert expert now! Holy cow there are a lot of them with the 4 fenders.

Enjoy the install!

Got my lift from MetalCloak, UPS careful shipping as usual.

Decided not to sell my LJ, now I won't have enough funds to go to 37" tires for a while. Trying to decide if I stick with 3.5" lift or switch to 2.5". I posted the question in this thread. 3.5" lift flat flares 35" tires

Looks good. 3.5 and flats with 35s might look a bit funny but I the ultimate goal is 37s may just have to live with it. Do you DD the LJ? I can't quite remember anymore.

If you need help wrenching just hit me up.

Thanks for the offer, I might hit you up on that.

It will be a little while I've also got the ACE sliders and rear bumper on order, they have a backlog of orders in production so I expect it will be another 6 weeks or so before I can start.

I'm also hoping it warms up enough to rattle can the bumper and flares by then, I cannot do it in the garage because I have a parrot and the fumes could kill it.

No, I wish I could DD the LJ, I have a company car that I have to drive. But then again with the company car someone else is paying the gas bill.

Just did my first official mod on the JK

Installed red LEDs in the overhead lights. I like them, they produce enough light to read by but won't kill my night vision if someone uses them while I'm driving. I used the Festoon 44mm Canbus - 4SMD RED for the back lamp and Putco 280002R Type B Red LED Stick Bulb - Pair for the front.

Silly milestone pic, I wasn't watching for it. I was picking my daughter up and while waiting looked down at it was at a perfect 1000.

My Ace sliders got delivered Friday. I couldn't wait any longer, so with real feel temps at 10 degrees I got them installed. Electric impact wrench helped it go a little faster. Finished with a torque wrench set to 50#.
