Thanks man! I live west of the Galleria on South Piney Point Road. I am down for some wheeling (though I am not very experienced). PM me if you ever want to hit the trails.

Got my Savvy front lowers put on today.

Prepped them with anti-seize and got the wifey to help by loctite-ing the zerks.

Out with the old.

In with the new.

Wow. What a difference. So much more control, better ride characteristics. Can't wait to flex them out a bit this weekend.

Looking forward to the next pair. I think I'm going to go with rear lowers next.

Also, got a bit more done on my door lock switch. Extended the wires.

Still need to change the tranny oil and inspect/possibly replace the trans mount.

Where did you source the Currie arms from? I got my first 2 sets from Northridge but they aren't able to cut any deals on the rear uppers so I'm in the market again for a different vendor to go through. Jeepin' Outfitters has a good bargain, but I'm always interested to see what people can get them for.

You'll love the flex, btw. The change from OEM arms is insane.

Flip the axle side around so the zerk is on top. You'll break it off on a rock that way.

Also, Savvy Offroad has the best prices on Currie/Savvy parts. Use the JF10 discount code

Sometimes, yes. But they also charge shipping where most major suppliers do not, making the price discount sometimes even out to the original cost.

Blaine has taken the time to answer several of my stupid questions over the years so I'd rather support Savvy than save couple bucks here and there.

Totally with you on that! I've made several purchases from Gerald. I'm not trying to make myself out as a cheap a**. I'm just saying sometimes getting a good deal on something when you weren't planning on the purchase can be a good thing. Also keep in mind that most Jeep supply companies are in fact small business unlike Q'tec and 4WD Parts/Hardware.

Everything I can't get through Savvy I go through Northridge (gears, lockers, shafts etc).

4WD parts and Qtec are the last places I'd buy from.

Dirk at Northridge is who I got my Currie arms from... great guy. I'm also now a fan of Jason at Jeepin' Outfitters if you need a new vendor to like!

Savvy Offroad (www.savvyoffroad.com). Use the coupon code JF10 for 10% off.

They use threaded Johnny Joints at each end and a 7000 series aluminium center link. The "double adjusting" feature makes them the easiest arms in the market for adjustments. You don't have to un-bolt the arms to adjust them, just loosen the jam nuts and turn the center link by hand.

Savvy customer service is top notch. The arms carry a lifetime warranty.
