Installed the Bestop under seat security box... What the heck man!!!! Terrible design. First of all the seat won't slide back and forth easily anymore. Second, the seat bracket bolt on the front closest to the center console was just about impossible to access and tighten. I basically had to strip it out to get it tight. It's like they didn't even test fit it before sending to full production. So ridiculous.

Now that it is installed... I actually like it. Fits my Kahr 9mm and a second mag with room to spare.

Well it sure looks handy though! I scrolled the pics and my first question was going to be "how well was it designed" , then I read your post..... Terrible! That's to bad, I need something like that!

They dont fit well on the fold and tumble seats . With some cutting it will fit fine , and it makes a fantastic place to carry your bear negotiation tool .

Its supposed to fit under your seat ? I have the fold and tumble (or had) so I chopped the heck out of it to make it clear . Not sure why you are having issues .

I have the Tuffy Conceal Carry drawer. Fits beautifully.
I hope the Bestop drawer works out for you!

Yeah I probably should have just spent the extra 50 or so and got the Tuffy. It's working out okay. If it bothers me bad enough within the next 30 days ill return it and upgrade to Tuffy.

It's been a while... I know. Things have been busy for me lately and haven't had much time to work on the jeep or wheel. Did find a use for my d-rings...

Not much going on really... been working on house stuff for weeks. That's been draining my monthly "Jeep money" and time. There are a couple things that need to be done ASAP. First is a new inspection sticker as mine has been expired for almost a year. Then I need to buy and install the Currie JJ front housing kit. After that I will do the SYE/CV Drive shaft upgrade.

Then stuff like a new front bumper and sliders and lighting upgrades. If I could get to that point by years end I'll be pretty happy.

Next years goals will be winch and skid system, maybe a front locker.

Installed a new headlight today so I can get my year old inspection sticker replaced tomorrow. Haha. I'll also have NTB balance and rotate the MTZ's. I got a 26 gallon air compressor this weekend so now I can start collecting air tools. Jeep projects have been on the back burner for a while now-- been working on organizing my garage. Built some shelves and installed the Gladiator wall board system. Jeep progress will happen soon.

Check out Kobalt's air tools. I have been using a 1/2" impact from them for a couple years now and it is a beast. It couldn't be beat for the price and torque....think I paid $70 for 600 ft/lbs. Don't waste your time with the smaller 250-300 ft/lb impacts. you'll find yourself doing as much work by hand as with the impact.

How do you like the Gladiator system? I am considering outfitting the new garage with Gladiator (or the like) components. My wife is insisting that I have a nicer looking garage in the new house. I told her that it is not going to come cheap at all, but I respect her stance on the matter
I've always built my own shelves and work benches, but she doesn't want to see anything more than bikes and a floor jack.
