Got the Jeep cleaned. As I was hoping, there wasn't any major scratches or dents under the mud :-)

I did dent up my rocker panel from a tree :-( Time for some armor.

ok in all attempts, to not hijack this thread im going to say this one piece...to each their own.... I understand and respect your opinion and if I was doing even 25mph on pavement my kids would not be allowed in the vehicle...where we come from a can honestly say I don't think ive ever met anyone who doesn't wheel while tossing back a few in moderation on fairly flat muddy trails at 5mph....consequently I had just popped the top when I rolled....it was a 3 day old build and I had gone from 33's to 38's and I was unfamiliar with the way it handled... my daughter wanted me to climb this hill...my buddy who should have been spotting had turned around to ask her something and what he did not see was a lower trail that cut thru the side of the hill I was trying to climb....90% of the time my family all bail before every major obstacle anyways and that was even before I flipped....it wasn't an hey yall watch this event, we started up slow and came down fast...alcohol or not it was going to happen...as I said I do understand and respect your point and I hope that this is the end of this topic...sorry Ashland ill chose my words more carefully next time so as not to get any panty wads started and I promise ill paint my "big red barn"....not...P.S. anytime you take a child into an offroad setting you are potentially putting that child in "danger"...but personally id be more worried about my child walking to school....too many so called good Samaritans and wierdos in the world

Man, wish I knew about that. I'm always playing in rose city by myself. My grandpa lives in west branch so I'm over there a lot.

So I'm thinking about doing this ubolt eliminator setup that I came up with.

The perch on top would be welded to the axle tube and the spring plate would be welded to the perch. Thoughts?

Ok guys, I'm going out on a limb here but I think I'm going to do something pretty cool.....Jk rear flares!

Yes, i know they are huge, 6" wide to be exact. Ill be cutting them down for two reasons they are huge lol and they taper toward the front.

There is a nice line to follow. Cutting this line will bring then down to 4" which is about the same as tj flares.

Part where it tapers up front.

Ill get to cuttin tomorrow! :-)

Thanks!

The other reason I'm doing it is the jk fenders are longer than the tj so it won't look funny when I cut out some of the body where I rub at full flex.
