Progress of the day.

Started on the caliper mounts

Cut

Cleaned and painted

Also, I decided things were going too smooth so I broke off the bleeder inside the caliper. I tried drilling it out with no luck. So, I get to but a new caliper....yay.....

Calipers are cheap, $20 a side for front calipers on my TJ. There is a core charge on them, but obviously you have the old ones off.

You still hoping for an open diff? I have an open carrier and wish I had the LSD. AFAIK they can just swap in.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 8.8 and have it all in pieces too. I'm near Toledo so if you ever have to come down to Detroit/Toledo area I'd be willing to trade.

EDIT: Just noticed you probably aren't re-gearing. I have new R&P, bearings, seals, and everything apart. Can't really just "swap in" a new carrier unless you want to put it back in again...

My Build thread

'93 OJ YJ. 2.5" RC lift. Currently going SOA with an 8.8 swap.

Thanks for the offer man. It's going to be awhile before I plan on putting anymore money into it so I'll just stick with the LSD for now.
