Hello from the Sagnasty area!! you are off to a nice start with your YJ. You have a few months of cussing and head scratching ahead of you I had my ol betty in the shop almost all summer (tranny rebuild, motor rebuild, major body work & a paint job)
this is what it'll look with like 31's. I have a 5'' lift though. These pics were taken before/during the work... sorry.. no pics of the finished product lol

also, when your internal arm came detached from the motor how did you get it to stay on?????? Mine keeps falling off and its a total beast to get back on I was thinking of just replacing the internal arms altogether?? As you know winter is just around the corner and those windshield wipers are pretty important!

I just put the windshiel down so i could get to it and put a new nut on it. the onld nut was missing. Do you thing the threds on your might be stripped? If not try to put some of that blue locker stuff on your threds and that should do the job. I would also recomend a lock washer but im not sure how hard that would be to get on there, I knoew when I was trying to do just the nut it was a pain in the as* to get in there. You could even try a locking nut, the ones with the white platic on the end.

I figured it out. My problem wasn't with the nut but with that white plastic piece that connects to the arm.

Whow sorry about the pictures, too big. Anyway, got that part of the frame done but i didnt do anything on the bumper yet. I will do that about the time i do body work. Which by the way Has been ordered for awhile now but the guy that im getting it from is obviously not in a hurry but I guess thats what you get for reduced prices. here is the finished product. welding is alot better then in the front.(grandpa didnt do it this time )

Holy Cow I can not figure out how to resize these dang pictures.
Anyways, I havent done much after that. I ground down the gas tank skid and rubber coated that but that is about it. There havent been a lack of problems witht the heep though. When I was under it that day I found that the diff cover was covered in grease so I bought a new gasket for that and my transfer case is leaking gear fluid so i bought a gasket for that and my clutch master cylander line that runs to the transmission is leaking as well so I ordered a new line for that. The line normally is about 30-50 bucks but I just so happen to be lucky enough to have the year that they decided to change stuff up so now the pice is 130$$$$$ aaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!!! :
so the plan is to install all that crap this weekend, hopfully it goes smooth.

Here are some of the small things ive been doing in aticipation for the horror story that will probably ocure this weekend. I installed a throttle body spacer that vertually made no difference but i read a buch of other threads and i guess you have to do a bunch of stuff before you can see any difference. Right now I am in the process of painting my dash black.

what did you paint your dash with? I have been considering painting mine but never wanted to have it flake down the road.
