Its great to see you having fun with your jeep and not just a balls to the walls build. Reminds me of my old YJ. If you didnt know how to weld before... you do now. -Jon

well ive had a pretty crappy couple of days with the jeep. Wednesday me and the lady went out for some chinease and the jeep was doing fine, didnt miss a beat. Then 4 hours later when I went to leave for work my clutch shot straight to the flood. Looked under the jeep and clutch fluid was pooring out the bottom. Turns out the slave unit I JUST replaced a couple months ago when I got the jeep decided to explode. Luckly it was under warrenty but I still had to fork out 150$ to get it fixed. I know thats not alot but it still sucks.

Anyway, after i found out what was wrong i called my grandpa up and he came with his trailer, we loaded it no problem. About 15 min later my grandpa calls me saying that my tire was DESTROYED!!! I guess after we loaded it for some reason my back tire went flat and was rubbing on his trailer tire and ended up putting about an 8x3 inch hole in my tire. Yeah awesome day. Found a tire on craigslist with a funky wear pattern for 35$ so ill be riding that for awhile.

The good new is shes back home safe and fixed. I wasn't able to get any pictures of all the excitement but I do have some pics of something i rigged up for my hard top to hang from my car port to keep it off the ground. Works awesome.

2 2000lbs tow straps and an imagination.

well i couldn't go the entire beautiful day with out doing anything to the jeep so im officially joining the black grill club. I got some 60 grit sand paper, roughed up the paint, taped and sprayed. I use dupli-color armor. ill post pics of it completely done tomorrow, but so far looks really good. If the weather is good tomorrow I going to tint the turn signal markers black and give me some eye lids!

Also I never did show you guys what I did with the little plastic jeep plate. I modified it a little so it would still fit and cover the brake line.

Im thinking about doing small red accents on the jeep since the hi-lift is red and when I build the tire carrier it will have jerry cans which will also be red. I think it will make it a little more interesting then just black and blue.

Things that will be red:
Hi-lift
jerry cans
front D-rings
Rear D rings
and thats it.

opinions please.
