I re-used as much of the old body as possible and cut and stitched it together
Most of it I copied the dumpster dive th build but I'm not as good a body as he was

You can kinda see in this pic the bottom of the back window was the bottom of the side windows I just pieced them together .
Thinking back I should have left the back open at bottom so I could use a stock th rear window .now I have to have a custom glass cut

Do a dinoot fiberglass trailer as the bed.

But I really like it so far, I like the leaf springs in the rear too much more truck like.

Also a thin piece a wood paneling is great for making glass templates much sturdier than cardboard

I like the idea of a full bed.... I know that a 80's S-10 box is the same width from the inside sheet metal, because I used one to make my tub trailer, I used the S-10 floor for the truck bed look.

This is another m416 style bed, I like the utilitarian look over a standard style bed.

The rear leafs are absolutely more "truck" like and easier to make work in the week I had to do it

I thought about the dinoot kit but I learned from the top that I HATE fiberglass !

I'm thinking 1.5" tube for top rail with 1/8th thick sheet metal as sides . I think the 1.5 tubing / pipe will match the curve on the belt rail

I do really like the m416 style bed but you lose so much space with that bed . I had to build a little trailer last year for a camping trip . That's one of the big reasons why I started thinking about doing this .
