Just found your build. I'll start reading from page 1 when I find the time.

It doesn't take much more work to build a second one ...

Shop you a PM. I'd like to see something like the Currie design that uses the existing frame bolts and possibly allow the factory tow hooks and fog lamps. I know...it's getting crowded in that area.
It would be crowded , but its doable . If you added a gusset or front hoop like the Rokmen it would be much stronger .

Are you running a Rokmen bumper? Looks similar to the Mercenary.

Thanks Lump. I'm enjoying it. It'll be very hard to part with this one...if I ever do. It's such a great platform and built right. I just get to jump in and use it. Thanks again for all that you did.

I took a lot of inspiration from Rokmen when I made mine , though mine is slightly different .

Not much to report but I did work on the Jeep a little.

I bought some TJ tow hooks for the front off a guy from craigslist. Other than the winch, I have no other recovery points in the front so this will be nice if I ever have to run a snatch block. I ditched the winch guard that was on the front bumper. I think it turned out nice. Much cleaner up front. Less cluttered.

Working on mounting my CO2 tank. Either mounting it in the tub behind the back seat or to the cage. I have the tube clamps.

Nothing really going on over here. I got hammered by some unexpected back taxes so my entire Jeep fund is down to $0.

Finally got out and mounted my PowerTank cage brackets. I followed IH8PL's thread and he sent me a few pics. Worked out great. Glad I don't have to strap that thing down in the cab and take up valuable space.

Hitting Spring Creek tomorrow...hopefully pictures to follow.

I agree...to an extent. Once I throw a cooler, tools, and 2 dogs it gets crowded quickly so every little bit counts.

Spring Creek was dry for the most part. Saw a 1/2 ton dodge blow a u-joint which took out the ball joints and the whole driver side tire just hung on by the steering. The drug it down the hill to work on it. It was quite the show.

Pics to follow.

I would guess my cooler is bigger but only one dog and he doesn't trail ride. Almost all my small tools now mount in a ammo box that attaches to the cage. I should have all the parts for a second one soon for recovery gear and the rest of the tools..... Every little bit...

For recovery its just a Warn Accessory bag, a 20' strap, and a couple D rings. I'm working on getting an action packer mounted for my tools. If the back seat comes out, which it usually does on longer trails, but if it comes out for good, the spare will go there and ill make a dog bed on top of that. Me, my wife, 2 dogs, cooler, tools, clothes for a weekend stay...my jeep looked like a disaster coming home that sunday!!!
