(another) high school jeep build

image-3375959938.jpg

Got this last month for my birthday there it is sitting completely stock.

Thought I would go ahead and start a build even though I won't be doing any major adjustments for a while. Just minor ones here and there.

First thing I did to it was remove the milk jugs, and last night I painted the headlight bezels. Looks pretty good. The next thing on my list is to paint the hardtop. Any suggestions on what worked for someone that's painted their hardtop?

Hopefully I'll be able to paint my hardtop this weekend. Any advice for that?

nice jeep. build her up right and you'll be happy with the way you choose to spend your cash.

Did you losen off the door handle before spraying? or how did you avoid spraying the body at the same time as the handle?

Hey man, the jeep is smexy. Im in huntsville/katy. You should join my 4wd group on facebook so that you can hook up with us if we ever go wheeling. Its huntsville 4wd. Your jeep seems to be lower in the rear but it may be your driveway. Just measure your clearance front and rear with a tape measure to determine if it is sagging. Good luck man!

I just tapped it off and used a ton of newspaper around it to avoid overspray

Like if you can come up with a design or a plan of what you want I might be able to get one for you. I've been wanting one too so it would work out good.
