I paid $160 for mine, holy crap!

EDIT: That's with expedited shipping and everything. Found it on car-part.com from a guy somewhere in the northwest.

Carpart.com is down right now so I can't access the website, but there's no way in hell I'm going to pay more than ~$100 for the bellhousing.

All about that unibody life.

Which one did you type in for the URL? carpart.com? or car-part.com? You gotta put the little dash in there. Otherwise it'll take you to an ebay link.

I found mine out of state and it was shipped to my door for $80. You'll find one.

I have sourced a couple of them from car-part . com and have emailed a couple of the owners. We will see where that goes...

Update, one company has contacted me, they are asking $100 for the bell housing + S&H/tax. I have emailed another company in Ohio that has the same part, but from a 1999 Dakota 3.9. Awaiting their response.

Bumpdate!

I have a 5.2 block/heads/intake/accessory plate, appears to be rebuilt. Thoughts?

I will swap in the block out of the ZJ for the initial SMOG inspection, then I will put this block in, of course after I get some fun parts for it (cam, roller rockers, etc.).

My engine is being rebuilt from the ground up, so emissions shouldn't be too much of a hassle for me.

Son of a *****.

Left the heads outside, some water got onto the bottom, rust has set in, no wiping this one clean

Have to get them re-decked, moved everything into my basement and wiped oil all over everything...

In the mean time, thinking about some upgrades...

Why on earth would you leave raw metal outside?

Good luck getting an air filter under your hood with that intake. Sounds like a fun set up but probably overkill for a jeep. The 5.2 is already fast in one.
