Currie Sliders

Hey man,

For the Currie rock sliders you got, were you able to track down the mounting hardware? If so what did you use, bolt size etc and if you have it to you mind posting pics and instructions.

Thanks alot!

Truly appreciate it! I just ordered a pair having them shipped up to Canada, what a great deal even without the hardware it'll be way cheaper then anything else and I trust Currie as I have a bunch of their stuff on my jeep.
Thanks again!

Looking good so far, make sure you get plenty of wheeling pics to share as well! I bet you'll be impressed with that rubicon your first time out.

Got around to installing the steering box skid last night. I was hoping to install my Currie Rock Ribz but hit several snags and only got around to partially bolting up the driverside. Looks like that will have to wait till after this weekend. On to Rausch Creek!

What kind of snags did you run into with the rock ribs?

Well it was an awesome time at Rausch this weekend. Drove up Friday night, took around three and a half hours but arrived around 530. Camped out then hit the trails with a bunch of Jeepforum guys. (Kevkaos, Krashnpa, squazz, Djole, blackouttj, itsaFinRubicon ran shotgun with blackout, and ScottD16) Most pics came from inside the Jeep as noone came with me to take some good shots but enjoy.

With my Rubicon it has pre-drilled holes from the stock diamond plate rockers on the body. When I went to install the Rock RibZ the holes didnt line up. Normally wouldnt be a problem because you can just drill new ones. The biggest snag was the fact the first and last hole partially lined up but to the point where you couldnt put a bolt in or drill a new hole right next to it.

Wasnt a huge deal but very time consuming to make the holes on the ends of the rock ribz larger to match up with the stock drill holes on the body. Once we screwed the first and last in none of the others cause any problems and you can just drill new holes and bolt in.

Have no fear. My wife took something like 450 shots all weekend, so there's bound to be something in there of/for you. We are always way slow at getting our pics posted up. Sorry.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.
