alright, update time again! Recently I have put new rear brakes on the xj as well as rear brake cylinders. Pre 97 front bumper ends are installed and look great. I picked up the rear ones as well but have not had time to install them. I know they have to be slightly modified, but since we are doing plastic repair in class I am planning on trimming them and repairing the cut out part correctly. Also I installed the bushwackers today! Here are some updated pics intermixed with a little mall crawlin' lol :P

thanks, I used sherwin Williams automotive for the paint. Basecoat was 3 coats with a primer surfacer below it and I used 4 coats of ultra 7000 clearcoat from sherwin Williams. I'm very happy with the results.

yea it looks great. How much would u think it cost total for just the paint supplies? Looking into a paint job in the future and don't know whether to go single stage or a full primer-paint-clear combo based on price, quality of paint, and ease of use

I'd probably say it'd cost about $350 for paint, primer and clearcoat. For a gallon of clear, gallon of paint and primer I paid about $280 but that was because we get a discount here in school. I'd go with a basic 3 stage primer-paint-clear. It's easier to fix any mistakes you may have along the way and the primer surfacer will give you a really good even base to lay your paint over.

thanks for the conpliments. haven't really done any work on the jeep lately. Been getting ready for graduation and working on two other projects at the same time. My boss's ram and my friends suburban. Updates will be coming in in the next few weeks!

well my folks decided to sell their wrangler however that meant good news for me! I traded out my 31's on 15x8 cragars for 33's on 15x10 black rocks! Running the 3.07's is soon to change but I must say I love the stance on just 3" of lift. Prolly gonna keep the lift I have because I love LCOG jeeps! Here are pics, more to come soon!

Beautiful work man. I just picked up an amber fire XJ yesterday and its proudly sitting behind my restored 88 MJ that was painted toxic orange. Having one hell of a time deciding if I should take stuff off the MJ and swap it over to the XJ. Ahh! Not enough money lol. Great work man

Thanks man, and I feel ya on not enough money. I unfortunately just had to sell my MJ, I had big plans and just not enough $$$ for her. Luckily the guy who bought it only lives down the street from me and we worked it out to where if he ever sells it i have first dibs to buy it back.

On the xj side of things I just picked these up this weekend..
