also, if your looking at it and thinking, ' its too high, it'll buldge out the duster, your wrong.... did a quick fit with the duster on as well and the height is PERFECT, you cant tell anything is under there, and the height matches up so good it makes the deck cover an effective shelf too if i wanted to lay something on top of it cause of the top of the box.

cant wait for that box fabric to come in to finish this up.

lol, looking at the pictures i realize now im going to have the cut the notch all the way back to the end of the drawer or i wont be able to pull the drawer out to anchor it down.

lmao.

ah no big deal.

Looks good, I like the drawer idea b/c with the tailgate shut, there's no chance of getting into it. Do you daily drive this machine?

exactly the point, i dont have to put a lock on it, as long as the tail gate is shut and locked, nobody is getting in.

thinking about putting some rubber bump stops on the inside of the tail gate, so that when it's shut it pushs against the drawer face and it keeps it shut and from moving around and making noise.

and no, this is just my trail rig and nice weekend driver, i've got a WJ that i DD.

Finished the box, decided to Raptor line the whole box ( since the fabric i ordered was the wrong stuff, lol )

im happy with the way it turned out, got it anchored to the tub real good, SHOULDNT be going anywhere.

Like stated earlier, with the deck cover back on, you cant even notice it's there. but it comes up to a PERFECT height matching it so it

doubles as a shelf, for extra storage, hell i could even stand on it if i wanted to

and the best part is, i wont have any more rain pooling up on the deck cover since it wont be able to buldge downward.
( put a jack stand on it for reference )

Thank you sirs, now just gotta bust out my trail box and load in the new cargo drawer.

think i might install a few eye hooks in the bigger compartment of the drawer for using small bungee cords to hold bigger things in place.

Rain gear cover came in today.

threw it on, which is sort of silly because my jeep is already filled with mud and water.

but hey, i have the garage back ! and peace of mind during snow and rain storms that im not sitting in a pond when i want to go for a drive.
