Put my new rock krawler track bar on tonight, now I just need to replace the stock drag link then i should have a pretty stout steering setup. I am considering building my own tierod and drag link but I am undecided right now

How do you like the RK track bar? I was considering it for a while.

i had one on my old xj and i was very pleased with it, it worked very well with the long travel suspension that i had put together (clayton 3 link, bilstiens, etc). i am hoping for the same results with this build. although there can't be many major variances between most double-shear track bars, i'm happy with this one and will continue to buy them if i ever build any other xj/mj's in the future

working all weekend gave me lots of time to think of what i wanna do with this overtime money haha. since my jeep is getting close to the way i want it, i decided to take this money and set it aside and begin to save for a built tranny for my cummins. which is another big step towards my dream to haul my jeep and one or two others on a gooseneck trailer out west to visit moab, rubicon trail, fordyce trail, silverton, Independence trail, etc.

Hit me up if you make the trip. I'm usually down for a weekend Moab trip.

Hahaha! I just hope this one holds up, the steel isn't as thick as i was hoping it would be. It better be sturdy when it's all welded up or jcr may be hearing from me

Had some time today after work to weld up the bumper, I'm not entirely finished welding yet, then i think I'm gonna grind down the welds nice. My mig welder is out of welding gas and there is no where close by to fill up so I used flux core, which is a little uglier
