i finally got a chance to get out and do some offroading now that i got her lifted... heres some pics from the local trail...

at the trail head...

this is my buddy's jeep that we just lifted too

even though i know this trail like the back of my hand and have done it in the dark more than in day light, i can say the jeep had no problems with the new lift and tires, i even made it up the hill climb with no problems. we just had some snow here tonight and the new tires do a lot better than i expected

This jeep looks really good. And I am very interested in this engine block heater. Temperatures here can get real cold. And again the jeep looks great keep up the good work man!

Nice to see another PA jeep. We have the same plans for axles. I just need to locate a front axle.

i've been hoping to find an 8.8 with tj brackets ready to bolt in.. but the chances of that happening are slim.. i am probably going to just have to weld everything on myself

today i got around to installing a BDS adjustable track bar and steering stabilizer. on another note, for the past few days i noticed that my jeep hasn't been sitting level (driver side higher than pass. side). when i was doing the track bar and ss today i realized that my driver side coil spring clip was gone and the spring had un-seated. most likely happened in the picture above in my last post. im going back there this weekend, i'll do it again and hop out and make sure the spring goes back to where it should.

heres a pic of the ss and track bar:

Score!

i scored a ford 8.8 today for 100 bucks. 3.73 gears, lsd, and disk brakes
i plan to have it under my jeep by the end of the semester. will be matching it up with a D30hp with 3.73s from an xj. and will eventually throw in some 4.88 gears when the money tree starts growing again. more pics to come...

Looks good. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say gears are next on your list.
