So I've had my 2004 LJ for awhile now, almost two years, and decided that starting a sort of build thread would help with everyone's advice. I've done a lot to my LJ so far. It's on Goodyear 35" MT/Rs with a 4in skyjacker lift and 1.25" JKS body lift. It's got a 1in transfer case drop also. The body lift was done by me and a buddy, same with the new steering stabilizer and everything except the main suspension lift. It was dealer lifted. Bare minimum. Everything else was bone stock. It's got 2" coils and 2" spacers front and rear. Which gets to my next point. I want to replace them with possibly AEV 4.5" coil springs for a tad more lift and to get rid of the spacers. I have a winch on front and rampage swing out bumper/carrier on back so it's weighed down some. My big question at the moment is: can I get these 4.5" springs and be okay without a slip yoke eliminator? The SYE is in my plans but would I be okay without it? I don't rock crawl or anything, I do go over a lot of school curbs and some light trail riding or just off tearing up some fields, and have been in a couple major mud pits, one of them was almost to the top of my tires. (I have extended my breather lines) Besides that it is my daily driver and my baby and I spend a ton of time on it. I'll have other questions in the future and all and any advice is greatly appreciated. All of my money goes into it even though I'm on a Highschool budget. Help me make an even better LJ!
