Lol I suppose it would be helpful but so far I haven't had any issues seeing out of them. Currently I am in need of a whole top. If im gonna spend 250 on the windows I might as well spend 400 on a whole replacement top with windows.

Well splurged yet again, bought a XRC8 winch and ordered replacement parts from morris 4x4 today.

Pulled my front pan hard bar as well. Little difference in drive ability noticed, if I put my sway bar back on it might sway less but its so little it doesnt bother me.

Put more off road lights on my bumper now. Will get pics soon!

It was such a nice day today!

Had to take advantage of the rare Oregon weather and went topless!






I am totally itching to go wheeling too! I still haven't gotten a chance to try out my locker on an actual trail yet.

Jeep's looking good. I'll bet it's fun driving it in Oregon. I was up that way this past Summer (not in the jeep). It was a really cool state and I'd love to go back. The only thing I couldn't get over was having someone pump my gas. Weird.

Thanks man!

Ha I love Oregon! A lot of people really complain about it, but I enjoy being so close to everything. I really like all the tree's. The weather can be a bit of a bummer but then it wouldn't be Oregon. Ya I was up in Washington the other day and I felt like such an Idiot because I forgot no one was there to pump my gas haha

So I broke down and ordered a best top replacement top, I really broke another zipper on my top. Good thing I just sold my Datsun cause I would be broke..

So me and buddy went to Tillamook state forest on Thursday. I knew there was going to be snow which I was looking forward, however Im 99% positive if I didnt have a front locker we would not have made it through the trail we did which is an easy trail. I also cant forget to give credit to my trusty shovel and winch.. Both also saved the day..

Start of our day, little snow

A little pond was forming to my right



A little ways into the trail, theres part of the trail on a slant and lets just say this part of the trail and snow does not mix. My second time I ever went wheeling a buddy of mine got stuck here for over 2 hours cause he slid off the trail and we didnt have a lot for recovery but a shovel and come-along. Once I started sliding down the hill I was not going to play that same game 15 min goes by and the winch wins.







Onto more of the trail this was an interesting spot again a usually easy part of the trail, snow changes the game. Still not difficult, just a little hard for my friends jeep.







He still conquered it with a little ingenuity



Found a new hole



All in all it was a fun trip! Took forever to get through all the snow still a blast! Best of all when I got home my new soft top was sitting in the living room! Need to get that on soon.

Ive been a little busy went on another wheeling trip which was interesting. only wheeled one trail... Helped a fellow jeeper out.

This JK is a brand new 2012 Rubicon Doesnt even have plates yet! It handled the trails like a boss!

I have now started my on-board air project I am getting tired of it taking 40 min to air up my 33's

Heres almost everything:


A/C pump in my jeep (from a cherokee)


Heres my main manifold.


I will get more pictures tomorrow, I am using a fire extinguisher as a air tank. It is rather really small but I figure it was free! and better than nothing. I am modifying my original tire jack bracket as a mount for the bottle. I am excited to get this all put together!

I've never wheeled in snow like that. Must be A LOT harder than without snow.

Thanks man!

When you add that amount of snow to any trail it completely changes the difficulty of the trail. Especially if your not ready for it. When I went out with the group on the 25th I dont think many of them were expecting that much snow as some had some issues, including on flop... I will try and get that picture. I still have a ton of fun no matter what the terrain is.

Here is a couple mock up photos of the tank ive got. Still got to thread tape everything and finish messing with the top of the fire extinguisher. Then run a gauge inside the tub of the jeep, then run a quick disconnect out the front.
