99TJSahara's Build 2.0, Here we go again
I'm back with another 99TJ(hence the "here we go again), some of you guys may remember by last TJ, for those who don't, here's the build for it:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/9...-build-835141/
I bought my current Jeep on 10/29/11, it came in on trade at work, and I knew I would be taking it home.
Specs:
99 wrangler 130K, 4.0, Rock-it CAI, banks headers, banks muffler, Jet Chip(not installed), ax-15, np231
4'' lift(tomken I think), 1'' body lift
35x12.5 MTR's mounted on 15x10 outlaws
D30 4.56 gears ARB locker
D35 4.56 gears ARB locker, with upgraded shafts (I believe it is a super 35 kit, when I pull an axle shaft I'll know)
ARB compressor mounted under hood
Tomken stubby front bumper
Tomken rear bumper
Warn M8000 winch
It also came with a soft top and soft doors

Little more progress today, I started to drill 2 holes in the frame rail(one on each side) to allow debris to drain out and not cause rust, but I need to go buy a 1/2'' bit, I also swapped out the t-case skid plate bolts for the longer ones that came with my RC 2.5 on my last jeep.
new on left, old on right
Hopefully all 3 of these items will be gone soon.

Small goodies have been ordered.
I also bought this off a JF member, but I'll need to relocate the ARB compressor so I can put it on.

Today I pulled the carpet cause it's soaked after like 4 days of rain, I'll likely leave it out for the winter, I also sanded and painted the floorboards.
Also I've been working an extra day a week to start saving up for a SYE, Rear shaft, JJ control arms, tummy tuck and other goodies
Primed
Painted

Washed my jeep for the first time today and extended the spare tire stoppers.
My extended stoppers: made each with M6x1.0 50 thread, 2- 1/4''x1.25'' washers, 1/4''x1.25 rubber washer, 1/4''x1'' sleeve as a spacer
Note: I'd like to use some larger OD spacers but I couldn't find any with a M6 or 1/4" ID, but I'll probably end up making some out of 3/4'' or 1'' barstock I've got left over from when I made my tubing bender.

Yea, it's a sweet color, it looks great clean and you can't really tell when it's dirty.

Yep, You should see it when its new, Sometimes maroon, sometimes burnt orange-ish, with a copper metallic to it, all depends on the light.
I ordered mine new in 99, spec'd out very similar to yours except dana 44/3.73, mine had a tan soft top at one point.

I was thinking the same thing when I polish/waxed it today, I kinda wish mine still had the gambler wheels it came with, I can't stand these wheels it's got now, but wheels aren't too high on my to-do list.

Depending on your build date yours could have came with canyon's. I placed my order on 3/12/99. Every TJ on the lot with 30" tire and wheel package had gamblers, When mine was delivered on 4/08/99 it came with canyons as did every 30" tire TJ on the transport. I had the dealer switch them out for gamblers before I took it home.

She was made in August or September 98(actually very close date to my previous sahara) with the 30'' tire package, so I assume it had gamblers.

JB conversions has their wide chain kit on sale for $225, is it worth the money or should I just put in a replacement chain? I'll likely be ordering a JB super short sye sometime in January.
