The jeep is looking great! It's come a long way. Keep up the good work.
By the way are you getting vibes from the rear driveline angle?

Thank you much! I don't hear anything that wasn't there before until over 50 MPH. Around 55 it hums pretty loudly.

You mean like slapping a lift together a la carte? Also thanks for the kind words.

I just got back from the U-Pull again having intended to acquire a V8 ZJ tie rod and maybe-possibly-perhaps some nice leather WJ seats. All the WJs there had tan interiors and/or were missing windows and they had a grand, whopping total of ONE ZJ. Oddly enough it was a rare 5.9 Limited which had everything still on it except for the tie rod. I snagged the grille because I know those can be worth a fair bit. The hood vents were already gone, sadly.

I was also standing in the middle of a sea of Durangos and got to thinking about doing a 5.2L Durango steering gear swap. First one I found was missing the gear. Second one was smashed up in the front and the frame was messed up where the gear mounts. Third one I found had the engine pulled and the gear was still there. So once I get that tie rod and a new steering box mounting plate, I'll have some heavy duty steering up front.

Yes that's exactly what I mean haha. Let us know how the steering gear swap works out I'm thinking about doing that also.
