I had almost the exact same MJ Eliminator mine was 2wd though I loved that truck and always wanted to make it 4wd and upgrade everything on it! Your doing an awesome job! ![]() you just need to put a new Eliminator decal on the side

Thanks! Some of my friends have suggested the idea for a new "Eliminator" decal in black.

I haven't fully decided on what lift set up yet. I've trimmed for at least 35s, will most likely end up being 6" up front with Long Arms and SOA rear.

A few more updates. The brown truck guy dropped off some much anticipated packages over the last few days for the interior. I tried to snap a few pics but the lighting in the bedroom is terrible.
The big surprise for today are the Wet Okole seat covers Charcoal with Black piping and "Jeep" mountain scene logo ![]() ![]() CIPA Autodim(sp?) mirror with compass and temp Heated seat kit. The pads will go between the seat covers and the seats ![]() As for the truck. I haven't been able to work on it much since picking it up last weekend from the painter. As mentioned before I plan to tackle the dash and seats first. I started working with the dash sub frame mounting from the XJ last night. The MJ uses a combination of spot welded brackets to the firewall to hold the steering column in place. The XJ uses a cast sub frame that's mounted to the firewall and "A" pillar. The brackets that are spot welded to the MJ firewall and "A" pillar are completely different from the XJ's brackets . So.....they all have to be removed, leaving a blank firewall. This little $5 tool saved my life removing all those spot welds. ![]() XJ firewall brackets ![]() MJ firewall brackets(very different design) ![]() Spot weld cutter example(still have to come back and grind down what's left) ![]() ![]() After lots of measuring and remeasuring finally the XJ subframe mounted in the MJ cab . The subframe is held in by 6 bolts, 4 on the "A" pillar and 2 up top through the cowl. I have 3 of the 6 drilled and bolts mounted to hold it in place for alignment purposes. I still have to drill the remaining holes for the subframe but it's lined up and in place, so you get the idea. XJ subframe in MJ cab ![]() 4 "A" pillar holes ![]() Cowl holes ![]() ![]() As always thanks for looking...... ![]()
