I have a 98 4 door that I am going to lift and rework as well. Not to the extent of thhis build but it will be fun toy and camp machine.
I am watching this one for sure.

Update time.

It isn't done, and there is still some tubing to bend. She drives though, and flexes, and has power going to all 4 tires.

The wheelbase has been stretched 8" to an overall 110"ish range.

^2 od" .250 wall, sleeved with 1.5" od .250 wall, equals 1/2" thick (for lower links)

Thanks bud! It should come together nicely when I finish up the sheet metal in back and tie the Jeep together with the cage. I may even give the entire rig a new paint job.

Oh. My. God.

You sir, are my hero. And by the way, played hockey for a long time, and a long time Rangers fan.

Lol thanks!

...and very cool about the hockey, and it's crunch time for getting a spot in the playoffs now!

That is one radical piece of work! License Plate (even though you probably don't license it): 7734209 (I'm a little sick in the head, but that thing looks evil, love it!)

Right now that rear quarter panel is not attached to anything, it is even cut away from the inner fender-well, you just can't see it in the pic. I was waiting on the cage work before I welded anything back together. ...to answer your question, I guess the answer would be yes.

As much as I love this build I hate when clean XJs get cut up to next to nothing. :-/ Either way, in for more!
