97 TJ's "build up"

Current Set Up:

Well, it honestly isnt even THAT built up, but i'll make a nice story line of everything i have done to it, and i'll keep it up to date if possible.

Well, here it is, day 1. first time i saw it.
100% stock, lived in the city. you know how it is

well, i grabbed some new-to-me rims and tires seeing as those 4 were bald as can be, and an OEM soft top. got it dirty that first weekend

Next, i got rid of the chrome headlight rings, and did a whole bunch of krylon fusion on my fenders, bumpers, and mirror brackets. anything that was "black" originally got sprayed.

I herculined it, but have no pictures

i needed a place to keep my hi-lift so i made a mount!

Next i installed some hella 500's. 4 of them to be exact. (thats alotta hellas)

The day after i took that picture above, we loaded it up (my dad and i) and drove to Las Vegas for my second year of college.

2800 miles later, here we are. nothing changed since then. After a few months (this was about 3 weeks ago) I ordered myself a budget boost. Got that badboy installed finally.
before:

after:

sweet. next came a CB radio:

after a week or so of cruising on those 29's with 2 inches of lift, i grabbedmyself a set of 32" Maxxis Bighorns. wowie! looks alot better!

and thats how she sits as i type this.

sorry guys for jacking thread, but i was under the impression you need full hard doors to have hard top? but im guessing thats wrong since Dr. Marneaus has them on

3"Blackdiamond susp. lift
basic skid plates
Bushwacker brush and rocker guards

it works just fine. the soft top has a hard plastic part that emulates the door jam on the hard top. fits just fine
