Well since you asked, I'm going to put the white Jeep up for sale and once it's sold it will force me to finish the green Jeep. The plan is for it to be a two seater stretched on tons with the V8 and I build my own bumpers and boat sides.

It just dawned on me you are probably referring to the one a few post back. It's a vehicle that's going up for auction. It needs some work so it's right up my alley.

Honestly everything you work on comes in looking bad but leaves looking amazing. I kind of want to give you my jeep for a couple of months and see what you can do.

Thats really cool of you to say. If I won the lottery that would be how I'd spend a lot of my time. Buying problem cars and turning them into something, then probably just collecting them I'd love to work on your Jeep

In keeping with the way this thread has gone I'm holding onto the white jeep for now and.............. Instead added Jeep number 4. 2002 TJ sport 5speed with 86k Dana 44 rear, 4inch lift SYE and drive shaft done. Delta headlights and rampage top. It's straight but filthy. Let the cleanup begin.

You can see where I started to clean the center console arm rest.

Plan is to clean it up and SELL it, maybe

Congrats, looks like a solid jeep!

Plans to change out the seats? I know it sounds stupid, but those are my favorite oem color/design seat...

I still like the black interiors best but this lighter tan is more tolerable than the spice color that came in my 97. I want to see if I can clean them up and repair the drivers seat. It's ripped up on the side from sliding in and out of the jeep, needs the vinyl side panel replaced.

Yeah, I didn't like the spice in mine & went to a lighter tan...but an soon just switching to all black.

...the tan color I have is duplicolor & the black I like is an SEM color which seems to hold up better (I have it on my console).

Haha the next dash color change will be the last for long time

haha, the GOBI rack is pretty sweet I'd probably have to keep it as I'm sure I'd end up with another Jeep to put it on.

Progress is being made in the clean up. Sanded and painted several prices and cleaned the interior made a huge difference.

Before

also removed the purple tint from the front windows. Will be replaced with normal tint.

After

When I bought the Jeep the battery was dead so with a jump box and a screw driver (ignition was torn out) I could get it running but that wasn't going to do long term. So hooked up to the battery tender and the battery seems good. Ordered a new ignition tumbler, accuator pin and the electrical piece the pin goes in to start the vehicle. Matched the new ignition to the door key and now it doesn't look stolen

Had some scratches at the door entrance I fixed with some grip tape.

Stereo install kit was broken so I replaced that and continue to clean the interior up. The Rampage tops windows are so bad I can't even see out of them plus a hole in the rear plastic. So I'm ordering a new top in black. looking at grabbing another 15" steelie and 5 new 33x12.5R15 meats to go all around.
