The spray can!

I found that the truck bed coating in a can does a fairly good job. i used it to paint my wiper motor cover, and it never ages, always looks freshly painted when clean!!

If the paint was in better shape I'd keep it green, but my current paint is like a pitching wedge, it's good from a 100 yards That is why I'm painting it silver or white or was even considering painting the whole jeep with the rustoleum bedliner.

Wow amazing deal on the hard top. I wish I could find a deal like that by next winter. I'm assuming those tail lights don't have a reverse light in them, any pics of where you mounted a reverse light?

Looks good man! How do you plan on doing the silver paint job? Any intentions of putting Zombie Apocalypse Response stickers on her or anything?

How do I subscribe to this forum so I can keep up with it? I'm new and haven't learned, looked all around but didn't see how I could do it. Guess I missed it or didn't understand.

Thanks!!

Thank you all for the kind words.

Started sanding the rear tailgate to paint with bedliner, will also be doing the same around the corners.

Also cleaned up the undercarriage of the jeep while I have it apart. Went ahead and put on the new brakes but still have to attach the line and bleed the system. So much work to do.

Then out with the old in with the new.

more to come tomm. hopefully. I broke my 50mm torque so I can't remove the trackbar so until I buy another one the heep sits in pieces. Also plan on ordering tires in the morning

Will be ordering Cooper Discover STT 33x12.5r17 to wrap these JK moab's. Still haven't decided if I'm going to paint the wheels black or charcoal or leave them.

Found the top on CL and the guy was cool. He didn't think it would be a popular thing and lucky for me I was the first to contact him. Was asking $500 and negotiated it down. He had 10 people call to buy it after me and quite a few offered more money but he was a good guy and honored our agreement. No reverse lights yet still kicking that and license plate placement around. I think I'll try and hide some small rectangle reverse lights near the body mounts? or under the bumper? or get litedots?

Not sure to be honest, my current hood has some dents(looks like the PO let it slam against the top of the windshield) so I may practice on it first and if it goes badly I'll paint it with bedliner. More than likely I will do all the prep work to the pieces I want painted silver and take the jeep to have painted. I have a few contacts due to my line of work so it should be pretty cheap. I do see a zombie sticker of some sort on the hardtop back window in my future.
