yes, still using stock 4:10 gears. This is my DD, drive 30 miles a day for work. For me, it's doable. But I'm not a speed demon so it really depends on the person if stock gears are doable with 35s. Braking isn't dramatically different. Right now I have worn brake pads and only notice a slight difference from the 33s. I'm putting some new pads on this weekend and I'm sure it'll be even better. I don't regret putting the 35s on. But, like I said it's on a person by person basis.

The weather was different here today:

...notice the top down

I miss winter though & FL has been crazy...20s/30s then 70s the next day...then crazy rain or no rain.

Extremely jealous. I would even settle for some bright sun. It's depressing here these months lol. I'll take that crazy weather over consistent freezing weather

Did you go from a 33x9.50 to a 35x12.50?

Do you remember which clear coat you used on your dash?

I think I'm using a rustoleum flat/matte clear when I redo my dash color....

So a guy at work wants to get rid of his 97 dodge dakota v8 for 1000 bucks. It has less mileage than my jeep. I think I'm gonna buy it, lift it, add some tires, light bars, back rack, etc. It's in great condition, black. I've been wanting a black truck to black out and this thing is so cheap I can't pass it up..just dont know how im going to juggle building the truck and jeep lol

Problem solved....put the v8 in the jeep

...then part the truck out, & paint the jeep black

I bring the truck home tomorrow..so that's exciting. But of course the.jeep doesn't want that and last night my instrument panel lights went out lol. I haven't looked into it but I don't think it's a fuse because when I pull to.turn the headlights on they flicker real quick and then go out. So I'm thinking its the switch itself..got a lot of projects this weekend!

Check the connection of the whole gauge cluster. Iirc, the connection gets dirty & can act wonky
