I am going to use the existing holes that my hi lift is mounted on to mount the bar so I am pretty excited about not having to drill additional holes anywhere in the body

Measurements:

3.5 inches from the left end of the bar will be the first light with two inches between each light following anther 3.5 inches to right end of bar. 4 lights total. Wire will go down in the crease where the hood folds up and then to a relay and to switch through the firewall.

Back to my stereo issue I addressed a few months ago, I think I may have found a solution. I purchased this stereo mount on ebay for 8 bucks so if it works it does if it doesn't then it doesnt. it says it fits jeep wranglers so we will see if it will fit my stereo and mount. The problem was that someone tried stealing my stereo, obviously they weren't the brightest and just tried to pull it out and broke the mounting locations so now it just sits there, doesn't fit and rattles. This new mount looks like it has a mounting spot on the bottom left which is the only place left in my stereo slot that allows a mount. We will see.

Also just bought a cell phone mount that goes into the mount for like 3 dollars from china lol. I'll see that in a few weeks.

Caved..bought pocket flares for 170. Mine need some repainting and I'm sick of the cut flare look so hopefully these 6 inch flares give it a nice look.

I go to Florida in a week for vaca but when I get back I need to buckle down and get this thing ready to be back on the road. The flares will help since I most likely wouldn't pass with the ones I have now. I definitely need to order a new tail pipe. Mine is shot beyond belief. Hopefully I can stop buying things in the meantime!

One of my radio mounts was broken like yours & I've got a metal bracket screwed to the dash & the the radio in the bracket...I can try to get pics if needed.. but hopefully what you ordered works.

The lights look like a cool idea! Be careful with the intake...I got water in my engine with mine on while wheeling....but it was my fault too. .. you just need to be careful with them.

Also, enjoy your vacation; its been crazy hot in FL... the last 3 days had a heat index of 100

Edit: east or west coast of FL?

Whatever cai you bought, you should look at the amsoil dry filters the eau series or something...they sell filters of different sizes that you can use with whatever intake you have. ...I really liked how mine performed & no oil to deal with

I'll try my new mount when I get it tomorrow and I'll see if it works, if not I'll let you know!

I plan to be careful with my cai. I actually had a like a footlong hose with a cai filter in place of my stock box for over a year and I didn't have trouble. It didn't do much though because instill had my stock resonator box on so now I'll have a complete intake that goes straight to my TB. I'll look into the filters for sure. Thank you for that and not bashing me lol.

I will be on the east coast.ni love the heat so im excited

I'm going to hold off on this project but I would like to do it eventually..I want flush mounted tail lights. Found a set for like 70 bucks with reverse built in them. Now, question is I would like to keep my corner guards on but they don't have a round hole for these lights, they just have 3 little holes for the stock tail light bolts..I suppose I could just cut a hole in these plastic corner guards but kind of afraid of things like the whole thing cracking. Suggestions? Or better yet, anybody do this?

So since I bought new flares I am going to take mine off this week. But Im debating if I should just throw them away or take them off, repaint and sell them. I'm not sure if someone would be interested because they are cut so they sorta give the flat fender look. Mhm

Just throw them on Craigslist. You'd be surprised. A guy bought my roll bar padding for $50.

So I should take the effort and paint them? I mean, it won't take me long haha. I suppose some people don't realize how easy it is to cut them and would be interested..I have nothing to lose so I probably will!
