I'm glad my hot knife idea worked well. I tried it a year ago on some atv plastics, seemed to work well on those.

If I didn't heat the knife the cuts would of been really sloppy and probably would have taken a long longer. I was able to glide the blade quite a distance before heating it up again, and I only had to go over the line twice before the blade went all the way through.

Gotcha, still all within 15 miles ha. Where do you wheel at? I seem to be pretty bad at finding spots..besides "the meadows" in longmeadow.

haha yeah I just read your build, figured it was still under it! That's going to be one sweet jeep when it's done though! I can't find anywhere legal around here at all. I just go by the crops and the trails by the river down in longmeadow, not sure if it's even legal for me to be down there but oh well. I'm constantly looking but no luck

I'm not sure if its legal or not in the meadows. I've been there a couple of times before to test out my friends buggy, and the other place is the mile behind wolfswamp fields but they blocked it off at every entrance possible so I wouldn't try there either. I've seen a tj come out of the woods onto where george washington st is (but further in enfield) but i've never actually checked that out though. Those are the only places local to longmeadow I can think of off the top of my head.

Hm I'll check those out, you never know. Any place is better than no place. I've been told there are places in grandby but I don't know grandby to well so it's no help to me. Or I heard of a place somewhere in El, I see a lot of muddy jeeps out there towards CT.

Okay finally painted the flares. Also while I was at it I painted the rockers (notice the difference). I wish I just painted the flares right the first time, I hate doing things twice, just like I have to do my frame again and had to do the rockers. Oh well. I got a little paint on the body Any suggestions how to get it off?
