97 TJ Budget Build

I've been readin through this site for probably a month now and figured it was time for me to stick my jeep on here.

I got it on the last day of august. in halifax, nova scotia. This is my second rig i started out with a lifted 93 toyota pickup which i bought stock and lifted. then my dad got himself a jeep(yj) and i took it for a drive and figured i needed to have one. so i put the truck up for sale found my jeep in halifax and bought it.

heres the specs on the jeep
1997 TJ 2.5 5 speed
dana 30/35 with 4.10 gears. posi in the back
its got a 2" BB lift on it. not sure what brand
it had 30s on it when i bought it and first thing i did was stick some 33s on it to hold me over til i can buy a real lift

^when i first bought it

^week or so later with 33s

just seein how bad they will rub

they didnt seem to rub as bad as i thought but i wasnt disco'd or anything
i think someone is going to have to make them click free or whatever

nice jeep thats a great start. The lift will definatley help with the tires. I had a 2.5 inch lift with 33s and they rubbed a small BL definatley helped alot.

wow havent been on my build thread since before winter. i guess i could throw up a few pictures. these pictures are with my new 33x 12.50 wild country rvt tires. all i can say about them is they are the best tire i have ever had. ill put some new pics up this weekend of my kcs on the windshield and the 2" BL. anyways enough bull**** heres the pics.
EDIT: oh ya i got my soft top on and i thought i did a pretty good job of puttin it on with absolutely no idea.lol took 45 minutes though haha. im missin a part for back door to seal the soft top to it,might be able to find the piece around here if i look hard enough.

oh yeah heres a pic of my broken door handle.. if any of you guys have an idea how to fix it or know of any other handles that are similar and would work thatd be awsome. cause this is the only thing that i need fixed for my MVI.

Cut my old bent up bumper into a shorty, i think it looks alot better but need to get a new home made bumper made up so i can have a little more protection and a good tow point.
