Those look AWESOME man. Total appearance change and it looks bad a**. I'm jealous that your TJs color is the kind that they have readily accessible in rattle can colors. I'm pretty sure Chili Pepper Pearl is not ever going to be at an Advanced Auto Parts for purchase.

Also, do you have an Optima? I've read over buying these tubes and see that they say an Optima is necessary for the battery tray without alteration... did you mess with it to get your battery back in? I'm also interested to see your AI mounting.

I think I did see cans of Chili Pepper Red at Autozone and Advance.

No I don't have an Optima, I just picked up a Sears Diehard the other day since I found a 10% off coupon. It's bigger than the Optima's I'm pretty sure. It's a tight fit but it fits.

Once the fenders are back on I'll get a pic of the intake for everybody. The stock one does fit..I unbolted the passenger side grill support rod so I could get the intake box under it, then bolt it back down and use longer bolts to mount the intake box.

edit: here's the chili pepper red, doesn't say pearl though

I live in VA and i just put a set of tube fenders on the TJ and i hate them. they are way to wide and goofy looking. are you keeping yours on the street with those or do you actually only have 4" of tire showing? just curious? looking to do away with my tube fenders and make some better ones

It will still be street driven. There is a lot more than 4" of tire showing, I also took off the rear flares so theres more than 4" there too. But the way I understand the law is that its a secondary offense so you have to get pulled over for something else before they can ticket you for the tire coverage. And also the cops will usually go after ricers before Jeeps.

Got my TNT Phantoms installed. It was pretty easy getting them back in. The only hangup was getting the battery+tie down to fit in, so I had to unbolt the computer and jam the battery in then bolt the computer back to the firewall. Got the LED turn signals and side markers mounted as well. Also I was able to make the stock airbox work so I have pics of that for if anybody else needs to reference them if they ever need to do it. The only thing left to do is touch up some paint where it got scratched during install. I think the paint matched pretty well, between the door frame and fender on the tub the paint is faded, but the fenders match the good paint (like on the hood) pretty good.

Yeah....when I get money lol. I can't spend anymore until I either get a job or get a little bit for christmas. I need to save my money for school, but corners will be the next mod most likely. Savvy aluminums.

Thanks, yeah I like the no flare look also. Anything bigger than 3" looks too wide and like wings.

Dang it! Those things look so nice. Did you ever consider metal cloaks and if you did what made you go for TNTs? I'm still on the fence about that. Not as much now after seeing those pics.
